"Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary" defines messianic as the following: "1: of relating to a Messiah 2: marked by an idealism and an aggressive crusading spirit". Messiah is defined as "a: the expected king and deliverer of the Jews b: Jesus. Judaism is defined as; "1: a religion developed among the ancient Hebrews and characterized by belief in one transcendent God who reveled himself to Abraham, Moses, and the Hebrew prophets and by a religious life in accordance with scriptures and rabbinic traditions 2: conformity to Jewish rites, ceremonies, and practices 3: the cultural, social, and religious beliefs and practices of the Jews 4: the whole body of Jews".

Messianic Jews are Jews who believe in Yeshua and a transcendent G-d that spoke to the Patriarchs and relate to the Messiah (Yeshua in Hebrew, Jesus in English) as the King of the Jews! Messianic Jews are called to reach there Jewish brothers and sisters.The belief in Yeshua as the Messiah for a Jewish person does not compromise or stop our being Jewish. A person born Jewish remains Jewish, there is no conversion! No man, Pastor, or Rabbi can remove a covenant promise made by G-d to a people or person! Yeshua was Jewish as well as all the Talmidim (Disciples). A Jew who accepts the Biblical truth of Yeshua as the Mashiach becomes completed and fulfilled, not converted.

So where do the gentiles fit in? Rabbi Shaul (Paul) states in Romans 10: 12 "For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on his name" He also tells us in Romans 11 the that wild Olive Branch (Gentiles) have been grafted into the nourishing Olive Root (Jews) because the Natural Branch (Jews) have been broken off because of their rejection of the Messiah. Ephesians 2:19-22 says:"(19) Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with G-d's people and members of G-d's household. (20) built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Messiah Yeshua himself as the chief cornerstone. (21) In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in Adonai (the Lord) (22) And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which G-d lives by his Ruach (Spirit)", and Paul said in Ephesians 3:6 "that in union with the Messiah and through the Good News the Gentiles were to be joint heirs, a joint body and joint sharers with the Jews in what G-d has promised". If you have accepted the Messiah into your heart, admitted you've sinned, and asked for His forgiveness, you are covered by the Blood of the Perfect Pesach (Passover) Lamb, Messiah Yeshua and your sins are know by G-d “No More”! Hallelujah! By Yeshua’s Grace, Glory, Compassion, and Victory gentiles are adopted into the Jewish family as a spiritual joint heir in all of G-d's promises! This in-grafting is into a “Jewish” rooted Olive Tree! All believers and “Joint Heirs” are welcome to worship the G-d of Israel and should keep Shabbat, Feast Days, and Torah!

What happened to the Church's nourishing Jewish root? Why the divorcement of Christianity from Biblical Judaism? One need only trace the course of history for the answer. After the Death of Rabbi Shaul (Paul) in AD 70, the first several centuries of the body of believers saw explosive growth coupled with heavy persecution, but Jew and Gentile worshiped HaShem side by side, proclaimed Yeshua Lord, and shared jointly in leadership. But the rise of the anti-Semitic Roman emperor Constantine and the anti-Semitic overtone of Constantine's ordered "Council of Nycea" meeting in 325 AD completely eradicated all Jewisness from the early body of believers. The Council of Nycea changed the remembrance of Mashiach’s Resurrection from the Biblical Feast of Passover to Easter (The pagan worship celebration of Ishtar, the Roman G-d of fertility) and the celebration of his birth from the Sukkoth to Christmas (the pagan celebration of Saturnus and their hopes that Zeus will bring back the sun on the shortest day of the year hence death was one their mind , both pagan holidays to bond Pagans and Christians together to secure Constantine's empire from rebellion, the Roman New World Order. The body went from Shabbat services on Saturday (the 7 day of the week as commanded by G-d) to Sunday, the only day of the week that the Romans didn't work so they could worship their Sun god, hence Sun-day! All the Biblical Feasts that were celebrated by both Jew and Gentile (The Messiah celebrated all the Biblical Feasts in the Synagogue) were outlawed and celebration of the Feasts were punishable by death. Throughout his life, there is no record of Constantine accepting Messiah Yeshua as his Savior. He was Baptized just before his death (knowing that he was dying) after 30 years of reign. If he was a believer, why did he wait so long? The "Constantine Conspiracy" was a conspiracy from the devil, a plot designed to draw believers away from the truth, attempting to divorce Jews from Israel and ushered in the "Church has replaced Israel" theology taught in many places yet today! Any form of replacement theology stating G-d is done with Israel and the Jewish people and that any church, theology, or doxology has replaced all or any part thereof if not Biblical and not of G-d! The early church turned away from it's nourishing Jewish root and lost most of its power and authority! Read the book of Acts and look at today's body of believers. This is not meant as condemnation, rather a statement that in general, the body is not a strong as it had been before all these things occured.

Restoration and renewal of the body of believers to it's Biblical foundations are on G-d's prophetic agenda. Jeremiah 6:16 states "This is what the Lord say: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it….. and Isaiah 58:12 states "You will rebuild the ancient ruins, raise foundations from ages past, and be called "Repairer of broken walls, Restorer of streets to live in." Reaffirmation of our Judaic principles begins the final renewal of the universal body of disciples for the second coming of the Messiah for his ONE bride! Yeshua prayed to our Father in John 17 and asked five times "that they be one". When the Messiah prayed this prayer 2,000 years ago, there were no denominations or churches, only Jews and Gentiles. Yeshua prayed that Jew and Gentile would be "one". Our bible is Jewish, written by Jews to the Jews about the Jewish Messiah who is Jewish. When He comes again he will reign in Jerusalem, a holy and royal Jewish city, and we are joint heirs!

We were tasked by Yeshua to do the "Great Commission", to spread the "Good News' of salvation through Messiah Yeshua. Rabbi Shaul says in Romans 11:11 that the Gentiles salvation will provoke the non-Messianic Jews to jealousy and turn them from their sinful ways. Yeshua stated to Jerusalem in Matthew 23:39 "For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me until you say "blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord". Yeshua was talking about the Jews accepting Him in this passage. He will not return until Israel accepts and acknowledges the Messiah. Adonai is calling on both Gentile and Messianic Jews to provoke the Jews to jealousy. This will be done through the "One New Man" (Jew and Gentile) from Ephesians Two, worshipping the "G-d of Israel" together in truth, and by providing a synagogue were Torah is kept and life abounds.

This unifying of all believers (Jew and Gentile) in Yeshua is not the single purpose or final goal. It is the fulfillment of biblical prophesy as spoken in the Living Word of our Glorious G-d and Savior Messiah Yeshua as He prepares to return to Jerusalem and claim His Bride in the Final Days! Baruch HaShem…(Blessed is His name).
